MINISTRY OF SOUND AND BATTERSEA
Our partnership with Battersea Dogs and Cats Home
There are an estimated
80,000
street dogs living in Nakhon Nayok, the province which we call home.
Since 2017 the main focus of our work has been tackling the uncontrolled breeding of stray and community dogs through our CNVR programme, which was given a significant boost in 2022 through our strategic partnership with Battersea
Together we will spay, neuter and vaccinate around 70,000 dogs in Nakhon Nayok by 2026, around 80% of the dog population, thereby reducing the number of puppies born into what can be short and painful lives.
Alongside our CNVR work we run education and community outreach programmes to inform and educate both kids and adults on topics such as animal welfare, bite prevention, responsible pet ownership and rabies prevention.
We’ve also pioneered a vet exchange programme to share knowledge and medical skills, showcased in the video below.
